Several other photographers do a "Mine on Monday" post where they show pictures of their kids, families or something that's personal to them. I thought it was a great idea, especially after a proud grandpa told me that there haven't been enough photos of the monsters on here lately! :)
Usually when the monsters are quiet, it means I'll have a huge mess to clean up, but the other night I walked in and saw them laying on the living room floor looking at a Hot Wheels ad together. The light was terrible, but the moment was one of those that I had to capture. These photos will remind me years from now the relationship these guys have. Having two boys two years apart makes for some interesting days, but there are plenty of times like these where you can tell they will be close friends all their lives.
My oldest shows so much kindness and consideration for his little brother. Lately he's wanted to help the little guy with everything: eating his dinner, putting together train tracks and tonight he even helped him brush his teeth!

My youngest idolizes his older brother. He watches his every move and tries to mimic him exactly.
