Purple "Wildflowers"

Spring is definitely here in Idaho.  Everywhere I drive I see fields full of beautiful purple wildflowers, which of course are weeds.  Even if they are weeds, they made the perfect backdrop for this little sweetie and her mom.  I love the connection you can see between them!

Little Miss M

This little 3 month old had such cute expressions!  At first she just looked at me like I was the weirdest thing she'd ever seen.  (With my camera glued to my face I probably was!) But then after a lot of jumping around and funny noises her smiles started showing through.

Fire Station

What a fun session this was!  I love it when people have suggestions to make their pictures more personal to them.  These were shot at the local fire station where the dad works.  The kids had a blast playing in the fire truck and dressing up in the gear.

 

 

Monsters on Monday 4-30-12

I heard something this evening that I haven't heard in so long...

"Mommy will you take a picture of us?"

Most of the time the boys run from the camera, but they'd both found their sunglasses and thought they looked cool enough for a picture!  They posed for a few, then quickly lost interest when they found dandelions to make wishes on and decided running and being boys was much more fun than that camera.

Gotta love those spontaneous moments. These are my favorites...
